Prague

Prague is a very important center of Jewish history. There is an entire part of the city that is the Jewish center of the city, and there is a lot of history there. The oldest Synagogue in Europe is in Prague. These few pictures are of that Synagogue. There are about 5 Synagogue's within a walking distance, you can pay a small fee to tour them all. No pictures are allowed inside, but they were very interesting. I had never been inside a Synagogue before. One of them has been converted and now has all the names of victims of WWII from Prague handwritten through the entire building.
One of the largest Jewish cemeteries is in Prague and we walked through it. Kevin was given a skull cap to wear when going through all the sacred places. All the men were required to wear them.
After we toured the Jewish sights, we took a walk across the main foot bridge from one side of the city to the other.

Prague is divided into two separate cities, one is the old midevil part of the city, and the other seems to be the more modern part. This bridge divides those two cities.
Both cities seemed pretty old to us though!
