The Hargreaves Home

On Friday night we had the State College Republican Convention. Each year the convention is hosted at a different university throughout the state. This year it was Utah States turn to host the event. The different chapters all come, and the State chair comes. They talk about what was done the year before, and hold elections for the State committee.

Our friend Chelsie who is Kevin's Vice Chair here at Utah State really took the reins and put the event together. She arranged for Attorney General Mark Shurtleff, and Congressman Rob Bishop to come and speak. Had the event catered and really put a lot of work into making it a special event for the state. Everything worked out wonderful, and we made some new friends from chapters around the state. Thanks Chelsie for making it such a great event!

Being a part of the College Republicans has been wonderful. Not only for Kevin having the opportunity to be the chair of the club, but for me as well. We have made some great friends and have had some incredible opportunities to be involved.
